Data we process

• Merchant store details such as store domain, store name, contact email, and app settings
• Product, variant, inventory, and alert configuration data needed to operate back-in-stock notifications
• Subscriber details submitted through the storefront widget, including name and email address when provided
• Billing, webhook, delivery, and operational logs needed to run, support, and troubleshoot the app

How we use it

• To send back-in-stock alerts requested by shoppers
• To operate billing, subscriber tracking, email delivery, and merchant-facing app features
• To provide support, investigate issues, and maintain service reliability and security

What we don't do

• We don't sell merchant data or subscriber personal data
• We don't use subscriber details for advertising unrelated to Stock Signal

Retention

Subscriber data is removed when a valid customer-redaction request is received. Merchant, subscriber, watch, delivery, billing, session, and privacy-request records are deleted when the app is uninstalled. Shopify's later shop-redaction request safely repeats that cleanup if needed.

Your privacy requests

Shoppers can ask the store where they subscribed to access or delete their Stock Signal data. We match requests by the subscriber email supplied by Shopify. Access requests can include the name and email submitted to the alert, the requested product and variant, alert status and timestamps, and related email-delivery history.

Service providers and processing

Stock Signal uses infrastructure and service providers to host the app, store app data, and deliver emails and operational services. These providers may process data on our behalf only to operate the app and related support functions.

International transfers

Data may be stored or processed in New Zealand and in other jurisdictions where our hosting, database, and email service providers operate.
